What is Content Repurposing and Why it’s Beneficial for your Brand

High quality and engaging content is key to bringing in increasing organic traffic with a high number of interested potential customers. Content writers are expected to create engaging content amongst current trends, questions, etc at all times, but sometimes, unfortunately, they get into this “writer’s block” and are unable to create a new piece each time.

This is where stagnant organic traffic occurs and neither a brand nor a company wants to experience that.

So, at some point, your content team needs to refresh and repurpose all your content to keep the engagement going, increase the traffic and reinspire themselves to start creating fresh pieces again.

Why Repurpose Content

The goal is simple. Take something you have already created, and tweak it a little to pass it on to some new audiences to capture more leads. This way, your current audience will still be interested in reading your pieces, as well as new potentials.

One of the main benefits of content repurposing is to capture the heart of new audiences, who otherwise, would never be able to find your brand and thus experience your product or services.

In addition, you would be able to reinforce your brand’s message by tweaking the old pieces, especially for your current customers and audience. If you keep repeating your CTAs on your content pieces, people are more likely to be reinforced to remember more about what you do, who you are, and how you can help them benefit from using your products and services.

Lastly, publishing a variety of content gives you more access to appear organically on search queries and if you can publish your repurposed content on other platforms, you might benefit from getting quality backlinks.

That said, we’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts on #contentrepurposing and its benefits. At some point, every company will be doing this, which we, as @pinkocreative highly encourage you to do so. It definitely saves time, and effort, and is budget friendly :)

Cheers!
